the day after the seventh game against the Yanks of the 2003 ALCS, and, sure enough her teacher is all decked out in Yankee gear; Yankee golf shirt, Yankee hat, Yankee socks, the whole thing. There are twenty three kids in the class and the teacher asks how many of them are Yankee fans. Twenty two hands are raised, leaving only our heroine sitting silently at her desk. Her teacher asks, in a smirking tone, "So, are you a Mets fan?"

The girl replies, "No. I like the Red Sox."

"The Red Sox? Why do you like them?"

"My mother is a Red Sox fan, and my dad is too."

The now-irate teacher asks, "If your mother were a moron, and your father were a moron, what would that make you?"

To which the girl replies, "That would make me a Yankee fan."
