Henry Berry
Darien, Conn. — Henry Thomas Berry, 70, of Christie Hill Road, died Wednesday, July 3, 1996. He was the husband of Diana Weeks Berry, formerly of South Dartmouth, and sone of the late HaroldJ. and Jane T. Berry.

He died at Stamford Hospital.

Born in West Hartford, he received his bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College in 1951. He was a sales executive for Business Week magazine, as well as the author of nine non-ficton books, including: “Make the Kaiser Dance”, “Semper Fi Mac”, “Boston Red Sox — A history”, “Hey Mac, Where Ya Been?”, “This is No Drill”, and “A baseball Century”.

Mr. Berry was a World War II Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Wee Brun Country Club, Marine Corps League Yale Club of New York City and the BLOHARDS.

Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Jane (Wendy) Briggs of Arrowsic, Maine, and Diana V.R. Berry of New York City; a son, Harold J. Berry III of Singapore and Darine; a sister Marianne Kelley of West Hartford; and five grandchildren.

He was the brother of the late Harold J. Berry Jr.
