A Red Sox fan, a Mets fan, a Braves fan and a Yankees fan were all were all on a mountain-climbing trip when they were socked in by an unexpected blizzard. Miserable, they huddled on a small ledge overnight to try to wait out the storm. Finally, the Braves fan couldn't take the cold any longer, and screaming "This is for the Braves!", he hurled himself into the abyss. A short time later, exclaiming "This is for the Mets!", the Mets fan did the same. This left the two remaining mountaineers eyeing each other in shock and dread. After a period of almost unbearable tension the Sox fan (who was actually holding up pretty well due to his hearty New England constitution) shouted "This is for everybody else!" and tossed the Yankee partisan off the ledge.
